kitchenAt Island Cabinet and Millwork we offer Corian® and laminate countertops for all applications.
Corian®
If you demand top-notch performance from every element Corian® is the choice for your project. Some of the many features of Corian® countertops include, a non-pourous surace that is easy to clean and a remarkable renewable feature. While nicks, stains, cuts, and scratches can permanently mar most other surfaces, they won't compromise the appearance of Corian® solid surfaces. That's because Corian® can be restored to its original state, using an ordinary abrasive cleanser and a cleansing pad such as a green Scotch-Brite* pad. And, if damage does occur, Corian® can be repaired on site, saving both downtime and aggravation.

Corian® solid surfaces are smooth and nonporous. As a result, they will not promote the growth of mold, mildew or bacteria. And because it's nonporous, liquids and stains can't penetrate Corian®, so it's easy to clean and maintain. Corian® is also nontoxic, and chemically nonreactive, with virtually no off-gassing at normal room temperatures, in accordance with building codes and other local restrictions.

Why Choose a Laminate Surface?
First and Foremost is Cost.
Laminate countertops cost significantly less than Corian® and most other solid surfaces.
Color Choices.
Today's Laminate color choices are incredible. There are colors that look identical to most granite, marble, and solid surface. There is also a huge selection of solid color choices, and many patterns not available in any other type of countertop
Ease of Maintenance and Cleaning.
Solid surfaces require some form of buffing to maintain luster and durability. Most laminate requires nothing more than a little dishwashing soap on a soft sponge
